ABOUT WOMEN tells the story of six women, each at different stage in life, who face their unique challenges regarding self-image, beauty, and societal expectations. They discover that letting go and embracing who they are is just what they need to live their lives in perfect imperfection.

Martien, recently retired, is stepping into a new chapter of her life, but her husband Simon seems to notice her less than ever. Meanwhile, model Jamie is pursuing her big break, though she must bend over backward to meet the industry’s shifting beauty ideals. Jamie’s agent, Claire, struggles to let go of her teenage daughter Leyla, who is experiencing her first real love. 

Young mother Sanne is trying to regain her body confidence after two pregnancies, while her husband is unaware of the pressure she places on herself. She confides in her best friend Nina, who is convinced that men and women are not truly equal in love and relationships. However, when Nina’s new colleague Baran challenges her perspective, she starts to wonder if he might be right.

In a mosaic of different life stages, dreams, and desires, these six women discover that true beauty lies in the imperfections of life, and that it’s all about letting go and embracing who they truly are.
