01 Jul Saskia Diesing joins Millstreet Films as Creative Producer

Amsterdam, 15 April 2025 – Millstreet Films proudly welcomes acclaimed director Saskia Diesing as the company’s new Creative Producer. After their successful collaboration on the international hit series ‘Máxima’, which has been sold to over 70 countries, this next step marks an exciting new chapter for both Diesing and Millstreet Films.

In her new role, Diesing will write, direct and develop exclusively for Millstreet Films. She will also take a leading role in talent development within the company.

We share a passion for creating quality series and films with international appeal, as proven by our first collaboration, Máxima. With the second season now wrapped and the first season do so well worldwide, it felt like a natural next step. I am incredibly excited about what lies ahead.”

About Saskia
Saskia Diesing (1972) made her directorial debut with Du (You, 2003) as part of the ‘Nieuwe Lola’s series’ (New Lola’s), which was selected for the IFFR, the Input Festival and Prix Europa. For her first feature film Nena (2014) she won a Golden Calf for Best Director and a Special Mention of the Generation 14+ International Jury in Berlin. This was followed by the feature films Dorst (Craving, 2018), De Zitting (Judgement Call, 2021) and Het Verloren Transport (Lost Transport, 2022) and the drama series Máxima (2024).
