Life really sucks from time to time, but if we work hard we can make something of it. Sophie 2 is the long anticipated sequel to box-office success Sophie.

After a good dose of marriage counseling Sophie and Kasper decide to go their separate ways. Sophie tries to look on the bright side, but loses control over her already chaotic life. Her restaurant is not inspiring anymore, the kids are preoccupied and Kasper starts dating a much younger woman.

Sophie pulls herself together and meets the handsome chef and ‘foodie’ Bauke. He appears to be a real magician in the kitchen and sees Sophie for who she really is. But is he really the solution to Sophie’s marital problems?

Sophie 2 is again a recognizable, funny and sometimes emotional ride.
